Crayon Shin-chan Kids School

Target age: 3-9 years old
Shinchan School offers special lessons for children who are trying skiing for the first time. Children can learn to ski safely and enjoyably on an indoor slope and an outdoor slope with a dedicated snow escalator. The lesson fee includes rental of skis, ski boots, and helmets, so all you need to prepare is ski wear, gloves, and goggles to participate.

・Fees include lesson-specific ski boards, ski boots, helmets, and use of the dedicated ski slope.
・The total price for private programs for two or three people is shown.
・Lessons that include lift use are only available for private programs.
■Key point
The items (teaching materials) used in both indoor and outdoor ski slopes are like toys that capture children's hearts. In fact, these items contain many secrets for improving skiing skills. While playing with these items, children naturally learn the correct posture, weight transfer, and edging.
INFORMATION
Items to bring: Face mask or mask, ski wear, goggles, knit cap, gloves, and high socks.
*Goggles: These are necessary in all weather conditions to protect your eyes from UV rays and snow.
*Ski boards, ski boots, and helmets are provided by the school, so you do not need to bring your own.
・Please wear ski wear on the day of the lesson.
・Please bring a hat without a pom-pom, as you will be wearing a helmet.
・Please wear breathable underwear under your ski wear.
• Short socks may cause discomfort inside the boots, so please bring high socks.
• Neck warmer (useful for keeping your neck warm)
• For children wearing diapers, please bring extra diapers.
• For repeat customers with a lesson card, please present it before the lesson.

◾️About making a reservation
[Private Lessons]
・Reservations can be made in advance via the online reservation page.
*Please note that we do not accept reservations by phone or email.
・Please select the lesson content and desired date from the reservation page at least three days prior to the desired lesson date by 5:00 p.m.
・Reservations will be confirmed after payment has been completed.
*Reservations cannot be made for dates that are not selectable.
*Please contact us by phone or email at least three days prior to your desired date. Applications must be made at the school reception desk. (Please note that web discounts do not apply.)
・Please contact us at least three days in advance if you wish to change your reservation.
・If you wish to request a specific instructor, please indicate this in the remarks section when making your reservation, or contact us by email or phone after your reservation has been confirmed.
※Depending on the instructor's schedule, we may not be able to accommodate your request.
※There is a fee of 1,000 yen per hour for instructor requests. Please note.
The request fee is payable on the day of the lesson.

◾️Payment Information
・Payment of the lesson fee is required to confirm your reservation.
・Payment can be made by credit card or PayPal.
*If you wish to pay by direct deposit from a bank account or UnionPay card (not issued in Japan), please use PayPal.
◾️Procedures on the day of the lesson
・On the day of the lesson, please confirm your reservation at the school reception counter at least 30 minutes before the start of each lesson.
・After confirming your reservation at the school counter, please use the restroom at the Crayon Shin-chan School indoor ski slope venue on the 1st floor of the plaza and gather 20 minutes before the lesson start time.
・The lesson fee includes rental of skis, boots, and helmets, so there is no need to rent these items. (However, please prepare your own clothing, gloves, and goggles.)
※Counter reception hours: 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
※Customers who have reserved multiple days for private lessons are requested to complete the procedures on the first day only.
※Lift tickets are not included in the price. Please prepare them as needed.
※Customers who need rentals are requested to prepare them in advance.
◾️Cancellation policy
If you cancel for personal reasons, please note that we will charge a cancellation fee based on our cancellation policy as follows.
Up to 7 days before the lesson date: 0%
7 days to 72 hours before the lesson date: 50% of the lesson fee
Less than 72 hours before the lesson date: 100% of the lesson fee
*In the event that the lesson cannot be held due to unavoidable circumstances such as inclement weather preventing lift operations or heavy snowfall making public transportation inaccessible, the lesson fee will be refunded via the payment service.

・Depending on the availability of each lesson, you may be able to apply on the day of the lesson.
*Please visit the school reception counter inside the Appi Resort Center.
*You can inquire by phone, but you cannot make reservations or apply.
