📍 About APPI Kogen Ski Resort

Located in Iwate Prefecture, just 1 hour from Morioka City and 3 hours from Tokyo by bullet train, APPI Kogen is the largest ski resort in Tohoku, Japan. It features:

21 trails for all levels
Tree runs & 600m vertical drop
Dedicated beginner areas & magic carpets for school usage

📌 About our School

APPI Ski & Snowboard School is the official school of APPI Kogen Ski Resort. We provide ski and snowboard lessons in Japanese, English, and Chinese, serving guests from all over the world. Our school is run by a multicultural team of over 150 Japanese and international staff.

📌 Job Openings

1. Ski or Snowboard Instructor
👉 Certification required

Provide ski or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and levels
Create a fun, safe, and goal-oriented learning experience
Multilingual staff team – Japanese not required

2. Kids Instructor & Assistant
👉 Certification not required, but you must hold a valid visa to work in Japan (e.g. Working Holiday)

Assist with kids’ lessons, prepare and tidy equipment, provide on-site support
Perfect for those who love working with children

3. Reception / Admin Office Staff
👉 Basic Japanese preferred

Help manage bookings, inquiries, and guest communication
Handle staff logistics and basic admin work
Must be friendly, organized, and comfortable in team settings

📅 Work Period

Full Season: Early December – Early April
Short-Term: Must be available to cover December holidays + February Chinese New Year
